Shluchim Camp Wraps Summer 80 young Shluchim spent an exciting summer at Yeshivas Kayitz - Tzeirei HaShluchim Tzfat, directed by Rabbi Menachem Traxler and Shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan. Yeshivas Kayitz - Tzeirei HaShluchim Tzfat concluded another fun, powerful, and exciting summer program. For six incredible weeks the Yeshiva's Yisroel Aryeh Leib - Colel Chabad campus in Tzfat was filled with the sound of 80 talmidim and 20 madrichim from 770 learning and playing. Run by Eli Rosenfeld, Efraim Duchman, and Berel Pewzner under the directorship of Rabbi Menachem Traxler and Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, the camp's participants enjoyed a summer of Chassidishe fun, learning, and growth, while seeing much of Eretz HaKodesh.
Trips included: Har Arbel, the Rambam's kever, the Golan, Meiron, the Galil winery, boating and swimming in the Kineret, Masada, Yam HaMelach, motorbiking, Shabbos in Yerushalayim with seder nigunim at the Kosel, a tour of the Old City, Ir david, the Kosel tunnels, Yad VaShem, and finalizing with a Shabbos in Hevron featuring farbrengen and seder niggunim with Shaliach Rabbi Danny Cohen in the Ma'aras HaMachpelah, and a final banquet in Kfar Chabad. More than 30 bochurim succeeded in learning the entire meseches Makos bal peh as part of the summer's Mivtzah Torah program run by Dovid Kotlasrsky. 'The combination of a Chassidishe, Shlichus atmosphere, intense learning program, great trips and sports, and touring Eretz Yisrael is what makes the program such an important and exciting part of a young Shaliach's life,' said Tzfat Head Shliach and Director of Tzeirei HaShluchim, Rabbi Chaim Kaplan. 'The smiles last the whole year until next summer.'
